As a lifelong sports fan,
Kyle Flanagan has always been quick to have an opinion. He spends his March through September watching the Atlanta Braves. His November through May is filled with Utah Jazz basketball and his August through December includes the high and low lights of the BYU football team.
Kyle is in his fifth year writing for The Daily Herald, based out of Provo, Utah. He spent two years working in Media/Public Relations for the Utah Flash of the NBA Development League—where he learned the value of hard work and trust. During his time with the Flash, he also worked as a game program writer for the Utah Jazz where he spent time interviewing the likes of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Tim Duncan, Deron Williams, Carlos Boozer, Bruce Weber, Jerry Sloan…and the list goes on.
His most memorable media experience came in June of 2008 while attending an Atlanta Braves-Milwaukee Brewers game. After spending time in the press box during the game, his dreams came true as he interviewed Chipper Jones in the post-game.
He has been a fan of
howtowwatchsports.com creator and mastermind Roger Pimentel since witnessing a Roger yo-yo trick in 2002. Kyle looks forward to being a part of
howtowatchsports.com and hopes to add to the cutting-edge and enjoyable reporting that the site has already become accustomed to.
He enjoys talking in the third person and he thanks you for your time.
Brett Favre has led the Minnesota Vikings to a 10-1 record so far. Add to that the mindboggling statistics from the 40-year-old, and it is no wonder why Favre is atop my NFL Most Valuable Player list.
When it comes to Major League Baseball, I have always been and will always be an Atlanta Braves fan. When you talk NBA, I’m a Utah Jazz fan through and through. But when you talk NFL, I have just one team I care about: Kyle’s Krushers of the Gridiron Gaggle Fantasy Football League.
Having been in football locker rooms after a devastating loss, I can understand the frustrations and disappointments that come from suffering defeat. But how does a college football team deal with two losses in one day?
Most of baseball’s regular season is spent with my wife asking why I have a game on the TV, plus games on both of our computers. But in October, it’s her idea.
